Max daily loss
In one line: a fixed dollar floor, reset from the 00:00 UTC snapshot each day.
The rule#
The limit is a fixed dollar amount off your starting balance, not a percentage of whatever the account is worth today. It never scales up as you grow and never shrinks as you lose.
The 00:00 UTC snapshot#
At 00:00 UTC your equity is snapshotted. The day's floor is that snapshot minus the fixed limit. A touch of the floor — even for a second, even with the position still open — is a breach. The terminal shows the floor, the amount used, and a live countdown to the next reset.
Worked example#
WORKED EXAMPLE
Gold $25,000 · 1-Step
Starting balance$25,000
Max daily loss · 3%$750
Day opens at$25,400
Today's floor$24,650
A profitable morning raises tomorrow's snapshot, not today's floor. The limit you are trading against is always the one set at the last reset.
